09/26/2012~ 30 Day Shred UPDATE

On 09/15/2012 I started Day 1 Level 1 of JM's 30 Day Shred...for the first few days I ended the workout thinking I was dying...totally kicked my a$$....Last night I completed day 10 of level 1 and overall I could see a measurable difference in my endurance. I didn't feel like I needed to lay down and die at the end of the I did JM's Kickboxing too!! Any who...I start level 2 tonight and I am excited/nervous all wrapped up into 1. I know I will persist thru it because I am already seeing a difference in my body (ie I am wearing a pair of pants that were too snug the last time I put them on)!! So bring on LEVEL 2....

Wednesday Weigh-in (09/26/2012)

Super excited...lost 1lb this week!! Managed to stay on track with working out!! I was up BEFORE the alarm clock went off this morning to go do day 2 of the C25K!!! Tonight I start level 2 if JM 30DS!!!
Waist Measurement = 37.5
Hip Measurement = 42.5

I have had a super successful week overall. I have stayed on track and motivated to workout. I did take a break on Friday but I can honestly say that I was still very active all day long. Today I completed day 7 of the 30 Day Shred...can you say Boo~yah!! I am very proud of that. In preparation for my October fitness plan (see post below), I purchased 3 more Jillian Michaels DVDs today. Thankfully my hubs is totally supportive of my fitness journey!! He told me today that he can see a difference in the way my legs look!! Either he was trying to earn brownie points or my hard work is paying off?! (PLEASE let it be the latter!!) I think that this week I am going to put together a Jillian Calendar for which workouts I'm going to do for October. I definitely want to complete all 30 days of the Shred, but I want to mix it up a bit...sooo...we will see!! Happy Saturday & nighty nite!!

09/20/2012 I've had a great workout week!! I'm thinking my motivation has finally returned!! I am trying to back off of the self induced guilt for still being fat after the birth of sweet lil 'C'...BUT it's hard and I am constantly expressing myself negatively. This week I feel like I have turned over a new leaf and truly feel stronger. My goal weight is 145lbs and I am a ways away from it!! I have 29lbs to go. I just want to fit into my pre-pregnancy jeans again...I mean come on...I've done this a few #3 shouldn't be any different...BUT it is!!! Ahhhhh....motivation and self-control!! It has been very hard. I feel like I eat so healthy (90% of the time) and just don't get anywhere with my weight loss. Exercising has been a challenge since lil 'C' got here but I have committed to adding the exercises no matter what!! So far so good!! #fatsux #nevergiveup

Wednesday Weigh-in on Saturday (09/15/2012)

This is my starting weight. This also means that I have 29.2lbs to my goal weight of 145lbs.

September 14, 2012 (Day 1)

 This is day 1 of my commitment to get fit.

 I ate crappy for  breakfast and lunch but recovered nicely with a Funky Monkey ProFIT shake for dinner (

My sweet hubs went walking with me and kept me motivated thru all of my jogging intervals (thank God for him). I made it and did 2.53 miles in 38:03 mins which comes out to about a 15 min/mile (not so great). The positive thing is that I did it.

I look like shit, but I earned my red run face!! =)
